Awards Host: You are the person who introduces the judges, and announces the placements and winners of each award. Emcee must also be comfortable with computers and to accommodate on-site requests. Announcement of performances and music playback: During the event, the majority of your time will introducing routines and playback of dancer(s) music pre-loaded from studios.
Additional load in/load out pay provided in additional to hourly salary. Load-in/Set-up/Load-Out: All tour staff are required to assist with load in/load out of event and set-up of their stations. Our Emcees must not only be vibrant hosts who can adhere to scripts, but are also skilled improvisers and listeners while conducting interviews with dancers. Must be comfortable with computers as well as the setup and operation of sound systems (QSC). You are the voice of Headliners! Exceptional time management and organizational (computer) skills, and a sense of humor required. THE POSITION: The DJ/Emcee introduces each routine, plays the music for the performers, announces awards to be presented and provides informational and entertaining dialogue throughout the event.

A typical competition weekend includes set-up Friday morning/early afternoon, event Friday evening, event all day Saturday, and event all day Sunday ending around dinner time. Some events, due to their size and location, may require earlier travel/later departure.
